Wednesday 22 January 2014 for Periods 1, 5, 6 & 7 and Thursday 23 January 2014 for Period 2
Students had the opportunity to pick a new seat. They will be expected to sit in their chosen seats unless their behavior merits a seat change by the instructor.
After prayers, students retrieved their journals from the cabinet and a laptop computer from the cart.
The following instructions were written on the board:
--Type out a rough draft of your devotional from the prewriting you completed in your journal. Use MLA format.
--Print out your rough draft and swap papers with a classmate. Read aloud your partner's paper. Write both words of praise and practical suggestions for improvement on your partner's paper. Sign your partner's paper.
Homework: Revise your devotional and printout a revised draft to bring to class tomorrow.
Tomorrow the class will work on drafting their second quarter book reports.
